HORSES CAN BE TURNED INTO GLUE, BUT SO CAN PORRIDGE, TOO
(HAPPY IS THE ONE WHO FINDS A THING WITH NO NAME)
2008
installation
Finnish Academy of Fine Arts MA show, Helsinki Art Museum.
The installation was built into the storage space of the exhibition hall. It consisted of seven short stories, The Boulder, The Beast, Coffee, The Staircase, the Tiger, In the Pool and Ink, placed in the museum's storage room. The stories talked about detachment, misplacement and about how difficult it is not to define, categorise and give names to objects, phenomena and abstractions among which we live.
